New Board Members

We’re delighted to welcome three new members to our Board of Trustees.

Left to right in the picture above are Kira Lewis, Sophie Lovett and Jules Offord.

As a registered charity, our Board are an absolutely essential part of Theatre Alibi and we are hugely grateful to the many individuals who have given us their support over the years by volunteering their time and their skills and experience in a huge range of areas from accountancy to fundraising, from education to artistic development, from health and safety to human resources.

We’re looking forward to working with Kira, Sophie and Jules and hope that they enjoy being on our Board – we’ll be making them feel at home with some seasonal mince pies at the next meeting!

A little bit about our new board members:

Kira studied at Exeter College before beginning an undergraduate degree in War Studies at King’s College London. She is interested in engaging young people in the arts sector.

Sophie taught English and Drama for over ten years before motherhood prompted a change of direction. She is now focusing on writing, both as a novelist and blogger, and home-educating her two young sons.

Jules Offord has worked in education for over 30 years as a Teacher, Education Advisor and Consultant. He is passionate about the importance of aesthetic experiences in bringing social and emotional value to individual lives.

Welcome to all three of you!
